The 8th grade at Northside Catholic Assumption Academy is doing research projects on the different ethnic neighborhoods, that at one time, were prevalent in Pittsburgh. Each student will do research on a specific neighborhood and discover what nationalities settled there, what customs they had, and how the same neighborhood looks today.
It's a great way for these kids to learn about U.S. immigrants in the 1800s and the growth and development of the city in which they live.
Seventh Grade at Northside Catholic Assumption Academy has been very busy these few weeks as we get ready to wrap up the school year! The focus of math class has been on geometry and measurement.
The final science chapter of the year is about organisms and their adaptions. Social studies has been spent learning about important United States landmarks.
In ELA, they have been reading A Long Walk to Water. They are very eager for summer vacation to start and to become the oldest students in the school in August!
Are you looking for a Christ-centered, academically challenging, safe environment, and welcoming school for your child? Come and see Northside Catholic Assumption Academy!
