Painting work in saint Peter Church will begin Tuesday, December 27th. Last Winter the choir and altar areas were painted.
This Winter, the ceiling and archways of the church will be painted. Scaffolding will be erected throughout most of the church and may, at times, be obtrusive.
The plan, for now, is to celebrate daily and Sunday Masses in the church basement.
Funerals in the church may not be possible at times during the week. The painting work will be completed by mid-March.
We recently created a Christ Our Savior Parish Facebook page and are looking forward to sharing our parish activities and live streaming events on it.
Whether you have a Facebook account or not you can visit www.facebook.com/cospgh to see all that will be available.
If you do have a Facebook account, please LIKE and FOLLOW our page to get notifications about the different happenings.

The Christ Our Savior Food Bank is located in the garage adjacent to Northside Catholic Assumption Academy on the campus of the Saint Cyril Worship Site in Brighton Heights.
It is held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. The Food Bank is hoping to reach more people in need of our help. We have staples such as canned goods, cereals, pasta, and fresh fruits, vegetables, and bread courtesy of the St. Vincent de Paul “Spark of Hope”.
Call the parish office with any questions. Cash donations are accepted in the offertory basket at any time or can be made through a link on the parish website.
Food is collected in the Food Bank bin in the vestibule of each church. Any in-date food items can be left there. We are unable to use any out of date or opened containers.
